Right Effort…

Posted by on May 31, 2012

This message is send by Mrs. Rajeshwari Chandrashekhar. A nice story to learn something. We all are working hard and putting our efforts to get success but what is important that has to be learnt from this nice story.

Once a gaint engine failed.

The ship owner tried all the experts one after the another. But none of them figure out how to fix it. Then they brought in an old man, who had been fixing the engines since his young age.

He carried a large bag of tools along with him. He opened the bag and took out his tools outside. He inspected the engine carefully. The owner of the ship was wathcing the old man and hoping he would know it better. After looking into the things carefully the old man took out his small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly the engine lurched into life. The old man put his hammer back into his bag and the engine was fixed. A week later the owner of the ship recevied a bill of 10,000 dollars from the old man. “What?” the owner exclaimed. “He hardly did anything” So he wrote a letter to the old man “Please send us the itemized bill”. The man send the bill.

Tapping with hammer…….. $ 2.00

Knowing where to tap …….. $ 9,998.0

Moral of the story, effort is important, but knowing where to make effort makes all the difference!!!!
