Posted by on March 15, 2012

India is fighting hard to curb terrorism. Since 1993 India has witnessed the deadliest attcks by the terrorists. This is a big task which is threatening our fundamental values and beliefs in “Peace and national Integrity’. USA has also seen the dark and cruel face of terrorism when the WTC towers were attacked. Now it has become a global problem and it is the responsibility of all the nations to come together and work on the posibilities of stopping the terrorism. When the US President Mr. Barack Obama visited India, he was in Mumbai. The president Mr. barack Obama promised to work together along with India to stop this evil. he also expressed his faith in the principles of “Mahatma Gandhi”.

India not only opened our minds, she expanded our moral imagination. With religious texts that still summon the faithful to lives of dignity and discipline. With poets who imagined a future “where the mind is without fear and the head is held high.” And with a man whose message of love and justice endures-the Father of your Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

“We’ll never forget the awful images of 26/11 including the flames from this hotel that lit up the night sky.” “Today the United States and India are working together more closely than ever to keep our people safe. I look forward to deepening our counter-terrorism cooperation even further when I meet with Prime Minister Singh in Delhi,” he said.

We have not forgotten the 26/11 attack on Mumbai. Shree Gattu Vidyalaya stands together when we remebered the victims and the heroes of 26/11. All the students payed homage and they took the pledge to work for establishing peace. We hope that “Together we will and together we can”
